The first major release of OMEGA in the year 2022 is nothing else than a new calibre for its legendary collection – the Speedmaster Calibre 321. This exquisite piece of their timeless collection was crafted with vintage details and breath-taking design in 18K Canopus Gold.18K Canopus Gold is the brand’s white gold alloy, known for its brilliance, whiteness and durability.
The newly released timepiece celebrates the collection’s 65th anniversary with a memorable 18K Canopus Gold case and takes inspiration from the first Speedmaster known as the CK2915-1.
The watch features a deep black onyx dial with a vintage OMEGA logo and typography with a detailed oval “O” – a symbol typically used in the first CK2916 watch pieces. Also, white gold hands and indexes are included, together with the three Speedmaster classics subdials. These include a small seconds display, 30-minute recorder and 12-hour recorder, in addition to the central chronograph function.
On the inside of the sapphire crystal glass is the engraving of the OMEGA Seahorse – an icon used since 1957. The Speedmaster Calibre 321 watch is presented in a wooden box with a Rosewood-like pattern. Both the design and details honour the collection’s 65th anniversary.
