Vacheron Constantin has recently undiscovered their historical Métiers d’Art watch series, created in collaboration with Louvre – the world’s most visited museum in Paris. This exclusive series pays tribute to 4 historical eras: The Persian Empire of Darius the Great, the golden age of Ancient Egypt, the Hellenistic period of Ancient Greece, and the rise to power of Augustus – the first Toman emperor.

The partnership was initiated in 2019 and has successfully produced rare timepieces. The four artistic masterpieces that have been based on the museum’s ancient collections were created as sculpted gold appliques by skilled craft makers and placed on the dials.
