Tiffany & Co was founded in 1837 by Charles Lewis Tiffany and John B. Young in Brooklyn. Patek Philippe is the last family-owned Swiss luxury watch manufacturer located in Canton of Geneva and the Vallée de Joux. Patek, Czapek & Cie was founded in 1839 by Polish watchmaker Antoine Norbert de Patek and his Czech-born Polish partner François Czapek. Rolex is a Swiss luxury watch manufacturer also based in Geneva. This brand is known for its appearance in world-known movies and associations with James Bond.

Wilsdorf and Davis was a company founded in London in 1905 by Alfred Davis and his brother-in-law Hans Wilsdorf. This company was focusing on wristwatches, which weren’t worn at that time. In 1908, Wilsdorf registered the new brand trademark “Rolex” and opened an office in Switzerland. Bvlgari was founded in Rome in 1884 by Greek silversmith Sotirio Bulgari, who came from a family of craftsmen and mastered his craft. Vacheron Constantine is a Swiss luxury watch and clock brand. It was founded in 1755 and since 1996, it has been a subsidiary of Richemont Group. It is one of the oldest watches manufactured in the world. The company is named after its founder, Jean-Marc Vacheron, who was an independent watchmaker in Geneva. Jean-Marc Vacheron was interested in philosophy and science and was a close friend of Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Voltaire.
