After three years of infinite work, a unique watchmaking collaboration between Jaquet Droz and Canadian illustrator John Howe is ready to be introduced. John Howe is the artistic designer of Peter Jackson’s trilogy “The Lord of the Rings” and “The Hobbit”. The theme of their collaboration was the Dragon, and together with their ability to amaze and astonish, the nine-animations Dragon Automaton was created.

With its sequence of nine animations, the Dragon Automaton is the most complex of modern watches ever. The dragon’s eyes and jaw open and close, the tongue and spine move, and the claws grasp a rotating stone. The Dragon is entirely hand-made and golden, and the 43 mm case can be done in gold of your choice. In addition, the case can be engraved or left blank, and the dial is fully customised.
