Last week, Ralph Lauren enhanced its partnership with Morehouse College and Spelman College, announcing a limited-edition collection. This new collection is inspired by the college’s history, heritage and traditions. The Polo Ralph Lauren Exclusively for Morehouse and Spelman Colleges Collection honours both schools and includes the style of life at historically Black colleges and universities.
The collection also marks the first time the brand created a collection with an all-Black cast and was shot by world-famous fashion photographer Nadine Ijewere. The collection includes dresses, footwear, accessories, outerwear, suits and much more – referencing clothes worn by Morehouse and Spelman students in the 1920s to 1950s.
