H&M recently introduced the newest drop in the Innovation Stories initiative – The H&M Innovation Metaverse Design Story. This ready-to-wear collection focuses on blurring the border between online and offline life and includes a digital try-on function. Five augmented reality filters are accessible in the H&M app, designed in partnership with the Institute of Digital Fashion, and enable virtual try-on on this latest collection.
The main pieces from this collection include a corset-waisted yellow dress for women and an oversized black bomber jacket for men. The designs of these pieces and innovative accessories have been created by Ibrahim Kamara – the creative advisor for this initiative.
Those wanting to learn about this collection can look into the Metaverse experience on the official websites. This virtual space will be ready-to-use from December 1, 2022.
The H&M Innovation Metaverse Design Story collection will be available online and in selected stores from December 8, 2022.
